Where is the best place to find a bike in San Francisco?
Nomad is a good shop, so it's Lombardi or the REI store in Berkeley. MR is right … can not go wrong with a local shop unless of course you do not feel comfortable with the people there. Search all, because there are plenty of good shops in SF, and surely find one you feel good. Visit several and the best time to go is usually a weekend (when many Shops are full), but on a weekday afternoon, when employees have no one else to help, and will be more than happy to spend half the afternoon talking about bikes with you.
