I have a few paintball questions ….?
Hey I'm thinking of getting into paintball, but I know very little about the sport. I checked, I have some good Arenas and paintball fields near where I live, but I'd like to get some information before jumping to it. So here are some basic things I want to know: A. A weapon that is recommended for a n00b? (Please send links to good online paintball store if you can, and I'd like a firearm good quality but less than $ 400). B. What brand name (in your opinion) makes the best paintball gear? C. How long are the games? D. Do fields paintball / Arenas have events in which someone new to the sport can participate even if they have equipment? E. What do you like more, woodsball or speedball? I've heard some good things about both and therefore attracts me, but I'd like to hear the "voice of experience." PS If you could please send links to some websites paintball well, that would help me a lot since my time is limited this week thanks
Well, after nearly 8 years of being in paintball, I hope to help haha. A. Like the man before me, ions of SP, Vibes … Proto makes rail and SLG. I would highly recommend the SLG, but the railroad is like a small step version of Protos high end. (I personally have a Proto M7 myself.) You can also go in forums like www.pbnation.com and make huge cannons used in that country. I generally recommend a new weapon Proto Rail because it is cheap but has tons of upgrades and it's made by Dye / Proto kno what is good. Also, if you're a woods makes Tippmann X7. Awesome. B. In my opinion, It's Gotta Be dude Dye. Theyre a bit more expensive but they do everything. Now if you want details let me give you a quick summary: Bookmarks: low-range Proto, Smart Parts, Tippmann. High-End-Dye / Proto, Eclipse, Timmys, Luxe. Masks: Empire, Dye, Viewforce Play Clothing: Dye, Proto, Smart Parts, Hybrid (not sure if they still have to play things) Air Tanks (Nitrogen): Crossfire, Draxxus, Dye Hoppers / Loaders: Empire, Viewloader (VLocity), Draxxus pulse used to make the sued Halo before so if u get a pulse, Odyssey Halo. C. depends on your style of play. Woods / Scenario can last up to an hour or so, Rec / Speed / Airball can be anywhere from 10 seconds to 7 minutes I think is the limit of pro (I think I'm wrong with that). D. Generally is called "Young Guns Rookie or tournaments if you are into speedball, but usually has to have a team. I kno there are tons or scenario games can go to that you do not need a team at all. Also you can always just walk into the field on a normal day and play. E. I started in Woodsball. It is really strategic and tons of fun. speedball started maybe 4 years ago. Much more fast paced and adrenaline pumping. Lil speedball I like more because it actually has the instinct much more than that, because you do not have time to think. It is also much more team oriented in my opinion. I love both styles so I'm not wrong Tho. Sites (These are my most visited): Paintballgear.com (Actionvillage.com but it really takes you to the section of paintball. Punisherspb.com pbreview.com zephyrpaintball.com pbnation.com paintballer have fun my friend!
